Are you an experienced CNC Machinist/CNC Setter/CNC Operator ready for your next challenge? Following the successful launch of a new product range, our Corby‑based client is expanding their manufacturing team and is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist/CNC Setter/CNC Operator to join their well‑established, friendly operation.

This is a hands‑on role where your expertise will play a key part in meeting production targets and maintaining the high quality standards the business is known for.

The Role

As a valued member of the manufacturing team, your day‑to‑day duties will include:

• Reading and working from engineering drawings and production specifications
• Setting and operating CNC machines with FANUC controls and HAAS machines
• Operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high‑quality components
• Carrying out quality checks and completing relevant production paperwork
• Supporting and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Performing minor machine maintenance, fault‑finding, and reporting major issues
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support production where required

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist/CNC Setter/CNC Operator
• Proven ability to set and operate CNC machines (FANUC & HAAS)
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and quality focus
• A flexible, proactive approach with a strong team ethic
• An inquisitive mindset with the confidence to identify and suggest improvements
• Competence using hand tools, tooling, and materials handling equipment safely
