Job Description:

ROLE: CNC/Miller Programmer & Setter
LOCATION: Long Eaton, Nottingham, NG10
HOURS: Monday to Friday 07:00–15:30 (possible early finish on Fridays)
PAY: £18.00 per hour

Frontline Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC/Miller Programmer & Setter to join a well-established engineering business in Long Eaton (NG10) on a temp-to-perm basis. You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machinery using Prototrak, Siemens, Fanuc and/or Winmax control systems. This role involves producing high-quality precision components while working from engineering drawings.

THE ROLE

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
• Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances
• Working confidently from technical and engineering drawings
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Meeting production targets and deadlines

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a CNC/Miller Programmer & Setter
• Proficiency with Prototrak, Siemens, Fanuc, or Winmax control systems
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent teamwork
