What You'll Be Doing Imagine setting up and operating advanced 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines equipped with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls — crafting precision components from a range of materials to incredibly tight tolerances.
Your role goes far beyond running cycles: you'll read and interpret complex engineering drawings, ensure every part meets uncompromising quality standards, and use your expertise to contribute to continuous process improvement.
While programming or editing experience is highly desirable, it's your hands-on skill, attention to detail, and commitment to quality that will set you apart.
Who You Are - A skilled setter/operator with proven experience on multi-axis CNC milling machines
- Confident working with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
- Knowledgeable about the full machining process — not just running the machine, but actively contributing to precision engineering outcomes
- Experienced in high-precision, low-volume manufacturing environments such as motorsport, aerospace, or defence
- Detail-oriented, quality-driven, and eager to work within a supportive, expert team
- Programming or cycle editing experience is a bonus, but not essential
What's In It For You? - A 39-hour week on day shifts only — no nights, no weekends, plus an early finish on Fridays
- Competitive pay starting at £17-£18 per hour, rising to £21-£22 for those with proven, high-level experience
- Generous overtime paid at time and a third, with as much available as you want
- The opportunity to work directly with elite motorsport teams on world-class projects
- Join a close-knit team of 40 skilled engineers in a modern, clean workshop equipped with the latest technology
- Excellent transport links in and out of Coventry, making your commute easy
- Strong progression opportunities within a company that truly invests in its people and technology
