CNC Setter/Operator

Job Description:

A well-established precision engineering company is currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in manufacturing, particularly within CNC Milling or Turning, to secure a long-term position with a business known for delivering high-quality, bespoke components to specialist industries.

Shifts Available: Fixed or Rotating (Days and Afternoons)
Salary: Up to £35,000 + 10% shift allowance for PM shift

Responsibilities of the CNC Setter/Operator:

• Set and operate CNC Milling or Turning machines to produce precision components.
• Perform quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive best practice.
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and follow TPM procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet daily targets.

We would love to hear from any CNC setter/Operators that have:

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling or Turning).
• Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Skilled in using measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
