CNC Turner Setter - Afternoon Shift

Job Description:

We are currently supporting a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Leicester who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Setter / Operator (Turning bias) to join their afternoon shift team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist who enjoys working in a busy engineering environment producing high-quality precision components.

The Role

As a CNC Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components to engineering drawings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines

• Working with Fanuc controls

• Producing precision components to tight tolerances

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Carrying out basic quality checks on finished parts

• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.

Essential:

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes

• Experience with Fanuc controls

• Ability to read engineering drawings

• Strong attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience working with Doosan or ZMC machines

Shift Pattern

Afternoon Shift

Monday – Thursday: 14:30 – 23:00 (30 minute unpaid lunch)
Friday: 14:30 – 20:00

Total: 37.5 hours per week

£15.00 per hour
