CNC Turner - Setter, Operator

Job Description:

JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering company in Hinckley to recruit a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Operator. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team within their CNC Turning Department on a 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday.

The Successful CNC Turner - Setter, Operator - Package:

• Salary: £16.77 per hour + shift allowance of £564.60 per month (£39,040.68 per annum)

• Hours: 37 hours per week – 4 days (Mon–Thurs)

• Shifts: Rotating fortnightly (06:00–15:45 / 15:45–01:30)

• Holidays: Pro rata annual leave entitlement

The Successful CNC Turner - Setter, Operator - Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Operate and Set CNC Turning machines

• Apprentice trained preferred

• Minimum 5 years’ CNC Turning experience

• Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Tool setting and program editing

• Use inspection equipment and perform self-inspection of work

• Conduct TPM/basic maintenance on machines

• Raise PIRs as required

• Work to 5S standards and follow safe handling practices

• Capable of working independently and taking initiative
