CNC Turner – Permanent Position

Location: LE9
Salary: Up to £20 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 07:30 – 14:30 (full-time)
Contract: Permanent from day one

About the Role

Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for a long-term, stable role with excellent conditions? We are hiring for an established and growing precision engineering company that specialises in high-quality gear and component manufacture. The business is looking to expand its skilled workshop team.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components
• Working accurately to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Carrying out basic inspection using measuring tools
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Setter
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances
• Confident in reading and working from engineering drawings
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team
• Experience in precision or gear manufacturing is an advantage
