Optical Coating Technician

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 + shift + OT

Rotating day & late shift (6 – 2 then 2 – 10)

Early finish on Friday

Leicester LE8 – Permanent

We are looking for an experience coating technician who has experience applying thin coatings to optics. This is working with a high spec engineering companies that works on a variety of components, so you wont be working on the same thing day in day out.  

The Job

• Running a number of coating machines
• Inspecting components before and after coating
• Selecting the right equipment for coating to get the best results

To be considered

• Previous thin coating experience (ideally in optics)
• Experience inspecting optics
• Able to commit to the rotating shift
• Live local to the LE8 area or able to reliably commute
