Commercial Property Paralegal

Job Description:

We’re supporting a well-established and growing law firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal to join their specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in commercial property who is keen to take on a varied and engaging caseload while playing an active role in the continued growth of the department.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Department, you’ll support on a broad range of commercial property matters and help strengthen the firm’s presence within this sector. You’ll be trusted with responsibility, client contact, and case management from the outset.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

• Previous experience handling commercial property matters.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage cases independently.
• Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• A proactive approach to business development and client relationship building.
• Confident communication skills and a professional, client-focused manner.
• Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
• A positive attitude and a strong team ethic.

Within this position, you’ll also be:

• Assisting on acquisitions and disposals, secured lending, and investment finance matters.
• Supporting on commercial leases, supplemental and ancillary lease documents.
• Preparing sale contracts, option agreements, and overage deeds.
• Handling new enquiries and following up with prospective clients.
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
• Supporting the marketing and development of the department.
• Preparing technical updates and internal releases.
• Providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
