Communication Support Worker
Salary: £17,400.00- £17,40.00 (Pro Rata)- FTE £25,000.00
Employment Type: 30 hours pw, term time only (36 weeks per year)
Are you an experienced Communication Support Worker, or fluent in British Sign Language and passionate about supporting learners?
A renowned educational establishment is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Communication Support Worker, providing signed academic and social support to deaf learners, both in and out of the classroom, promoting independence and an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Working as part of the learning support team, providing constructive and structured supported to deaf and hard of hearing learners.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate their academic development.
- Contribute towards EHCP's where possible, suggesting adjustments where neccesary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the curriculum, incorporating the latest industry trends and advancements.
Requirements:
- A level 3 qualification in BSL, or fluent in sign language.
- Experience supporting Deaf or SEND learners.
- Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.
