Job Description:

Community Nurse – Leicester (NHS)
Temporary Shifts Available | Day Shifts Across 7 Days (Primarily Monday–Friday)
Pay Rates:

• Umbrella: £21.50 per hour
• PAYE (excluding holiday): £17.40 per hour

Service Care Solutions is currently offering flexible shift opportunities for Community Nurses to support a well-established NHS service in Leicester. Shifts are available across the full week, with the majority falling between Monday and Friday.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in End-of-Life (EOL) care
• PRN medication administration via injection
• Proficiency with SystmOne
• Clinical competencies in:
  • Suprapubic catheterisation
  • Compression bandaging
  • IV medication administration
  • Subcutaneous fluid administration
  • TNP wound therapy / VAC management
  • Cannulation
  • Doppler assessments
  • Leg ulcer assessment

Desirable Skills:

• Continence assessments
• PEG feeding
• Venepuncture
• INR testing

Please also bear in mind our £250 referral fee bonus for any nurse you refer who we place in to work on a 3-month contract.

 We also offer a £250 sign up bonus for any new nurses that register with our agency. This will be paid in your first pay packet.
