Computer Science Teacher

Job Description:

Supply Star Recruitment are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Computer Science to join our clients school's successful and supportive department on a temporary basis to cover a long-term absence either Full OR Part Time.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher or an experienced supply teacher to work within a forward-thinking secondary school with a strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Computer Science across Key Stages [3/4/5 – amend as appropriate]

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum

• Assess, track and report on student progress

• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement

• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level

• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

• A positive, flexible and professional approach

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
