​Contracts Manager

Job Description:

Contracts Manager, £60,000 – £65,000 + BMW Company Car + Benefits,

• 39-hour week – Full-time, permanent role – Monday to Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–1:30pm (some flexibility)
• Well-established, family-owned engineering business specialising in the design & manufacture of filtration systems for industrial and commercial clients.
• Strong reputation for improving factory efficiency, safety and environmental performance, supported by a hands-on and supportive leadership team.

Your background as a Contracts Manager:

• Experience within contracts management, project management, or site planning.
• A commercially minded individual with a background in engineering, MUST BE within the same industry or similar (industrial equipment / dust extraction / filtration etc).
• Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) qualification such as P601 & P602 would be preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and take accurate site measurement.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, able to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Confident communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a practical, hands-on approach

Contracts Manager responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage projects from initial enquiry through to installation planning
• Conduct site visits to assess access, take measurements, and review installation requirements
• Check access routes, workspace constraints, and health & safety considerations prior to installation
• Confirm installation schedules with customers and internal teams
• Ensure all equipment, components, and materials are prepared and delivered on time
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to keep projects on track
• Identify and resolve potential issues ahead of installation to ensure smooth delivery
• Act as the main point of contact for customers during the planning and coordination phase.

This Contracts Manager role will mainly cover the Midlands / Southwest / possibly parts of Wales. The offices are based in Leicester, so we are ideally looking for someone based in Loughborough, Hinckley, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Coalville, Burton upon Trent, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire and surrounding areas.
