Description
- Prepare and analyse cost reports to support decision-making processes.
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs to ensure budgetary compliance.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate financial data.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for the Accounting & Finance team.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for implementation.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
Profile
A successful Cost Accountant should have:
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience in cost accounting within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges.
Job Offer
