Customer Service Administrator

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Administrator to join one of our leading clients based in Nottingham. Please note we can only consider candidates with office based customer service experience.

The Role:

• Book out deliveries and jobs accurately
• Assign couriers and drivers to jobs, ensuring timely and effective logistics
• Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers
• Process and manage purchase orders efficiently
• Coordinate with couriers to arrange deliveries and collections
• Monitor and manage shared email inboxes and handle inbound calls
• Provide updates to clients regarding stock levels and delivery times
• Proactively resolve any delivery or service issues, maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Support the team with general administrative tasks and data entry

  
The Candidate:

• Proven experience in an office based customer service role ideally within a product-focused business (e.g. manufacturing, logistics, wholesale, or distribution)
• Excellent IT skills – confident learning and using new systems
• Strong time management and organisational abilities
• A flexible and adaptable approach – including availability on weekends when needed

This is a fast-paced and varied role that will suit someone with strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid background in product-based administration.
