Senior Payroll Specialist
Time & Attendance
Leicester - Hybrid
Up to £45k
We’re looking for a Senior Payroll & Time Attendance Officer to join our payroll team. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery while managing UKG (Kronos) timekeeping systems, supporting stakeholders with client-level service standards.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end payroll with full statutory compliance
- Process adjustments, bonuses, overtime, and reconciliations
- Oversee UKG (Kronos) time & attendance system, including configuration and upgrades
- Ensure data accuracy through audits and exception monitoring
- Provide second-line support for complex payroll queries
- Mentor junior team members and support process improvements
What You Bring
- Proven payroll processing experience, ideally senior or supervisory level
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g., IRIS, Sage, ADP)
- Hands-on UKG (Kronos) or other time & attendance software experience
- Excellent accuracy, organisational skills, and Excel proficiency
- CIPP qualification (desirable)
