Deputy Children’s Home Manager
Salary: £33,300
Setting: 2-bed children’s residential home
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Derby

Our client is seeking an experienced Deputy Children’s Home Manager to support the leadership and day-to-day management of a small residential children’s home. This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare professional looking to progress within a supportive and well-structured service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Registered Manager with the daily operation of the home
• Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to the care team
• Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance
• Support the development of a safe, stable and nurturing environment for young people

Requirements:
• Previous experience in residential childcare, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s residential care standards
• Effective leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
