Job Description:

Deputy Manager - Domiciliary Care & Supported Living
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full-Time | Permanent

Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in leadership? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and expanding care provider supporting adults across domiciliary and supported living services in Nottingham. You'll balance strategic oversight with hands-on care delivery, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred support every day.

The Role
As Deputy Manager, you'll lead the coordination and delivery of person-centred care and support plans, ensuring compliance with CQC standards. You'll conduct care reviews, audits, and spot checks, supervise and develop a dedicated care team, and oversee key operational areas including medication, health & safety, and rota management. The role combines office-based management with field-based engagement - giving you a dynamic and rewarding blend of leadership and direct involvement in care quality.

What We're Looking For

Desirable: NVQ Level 4/5 in Leadership & Management and prior supervisory experience.

Why This Role Stands Out

You'll thrive in a balanced leadership position that combines strategic oversight with real-world impact. Instead of being tied to a desk, you'll have autonomy and variety - spending time both leading from the office and supporting staff and service users in the field. This creates a truly engaging and meaningful workday, where you can actively shape care standards while advancing your leadership skills.

Your career development is also firmly supported. With structured progression pathways and funded qualifications (including NVQ 4/5), this role offers a clear route to Registered Manager or senior operational positions. You'll gain the experience, confidence, and recognition to take your career to the next level.

Most importantly, you'll join a values-driven organisation where people genuinely matter. Staff wellbeing, training, and recognition are built into the culture - meaning you're not just managing, you're part of a supportive community that values quality care and professional growth. You'll feel truly appreciated for the difference you make, both to service users and the wider team.
