The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in both the clinical leadership and day-to-day management of the service.
You will:
- Support the Home Manager in the overall running of the home
- Provide strong clinical oversight and leadership to the nursing team
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop staff to maintain high standards of care
- Oversee care planning and delivery of person-centred care
- Contribute to audits, governance, and continuous improvement
- Take charge of the service in the absence of the Home Manager
What We’re Looking For
- NMC Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager
- Strong clinical knowledge and leadership capability
- Previous experience within a nursing home environment (preferred)
- A proactive, supportive leadership style with a passion for quality care
