Design Engineer

Job Description:

 Nottingham |  Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
 £45,000 – £60,000 + benefits

Are you an experienced Design Engineer with a background in bespoke machinery or conveyor systems?
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering business specialising in the design and build of purpose-built automated machinery.

What you’ll be doing:

• Modifying and detailing standard products to meet specific customer requirements
• Designing machinery, moving parts and automation systems
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations for bespoke machinery
• Producing technical drawings and detailed designs using SolidWorks
• Working on bespoke projects from conceptual design to completion

What we’re looking for:

• Proven design experience on bespoke or purpose-built machinery (ideally conveyors or automated systems)

• Proficient in SolidWorks

• Engineering qualification at Level 3, HNC/HND, or Degree level

Package:

• Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)

• 25 days holiday + bank holidays

• Pension: 3% employer / 5% employee (8% total)
