Domestic Energy Advisor

£25,000 - £29,000 + Benefits

A forward-thinking, sustainability-focused organisation is looking to appoint a Domestic Energy Advisor to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping households improve energy efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint.

The Role:
The Domestic Energy Advisor will support residents by providing expert advice on improving the energy efficiency of their homes. This includes helping customers understand energy-saving measures, funding options, and practical steps to reduce energy consumption. The role is hybrid, with a mix of home working and time spent in the Leicester office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer personalised energy advice to homeowners and tenants via phone, email, and in-person outreach
• Support individuals in understanding their energy usage and recommend improvements
• Signpost clients to funding schemes such as ECO4, GBIS, or local authority grants
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and outcomes
• Work closely with internal teams and partners to deliver impactful advice services

Requirements:

• Experience in an energy advice, customer service, housing, or sustainability role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of domestic energy efficiency measures and UK energy schemes
• A proactive, empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable or fuel-poor households
• Based within commutable distance to Leicester
