Part-Time Design & Technology Teacher – Nottingham

The Role

• Teaching Design & Technology across relevant key stages (KS3/KS4 – KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Planning and delivering engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons aligned with the national curriculum

• Supporting pupils in developing technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities

• Assessing progress and ensuring students achieve their full potential

• Working collaboratively within a committed and professional department

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Strong subject knowledge within Design & Technology (specialism in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering or similar welcomed)

• Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities

• Confident managing practical classroom environments safely

• Reliable, professional, and adaptable, with a proactive approach
