Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Duct Fitting Pair for a short-term project in Derby, working on the installation of spiral ductwork in a commercial/industrial setting. The role involves working with galvanized steel ducting systems to a high standard, following site drawings and health & safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of spiral ductwork (galvanised steel)

• Supporting framework/brackets as required

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Ensuring installations are airtight and meet specifications

• Maintaining site cleanliness and safety standards

• Coordinating with site supervisors and other trades

Requirements

• Valid CSCS/Skill Card (Blue/Gold)

• Proven experience working as a Duct Fitting Pair

• Own tools and PPE

• At least one fitter in the pair must be capable of reading and following drawings independently

• Must have own transport or means to get to site

• UTR number (for CIS payment, if applicable)

Desirable

• PASMA or IPAF certification

• Previous experience in similar short-term ductwork installations

• Local to the Cambridge area or able to commute daily
