Early Years Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

A welcoming Primary School in the NG8 postcode area is seeking a dedicated and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team, starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them to develop key early learning skills through play-based learning, structured activities and targeted support.

• EYFS Teaching Assistant

• Based at a Primary School in NG8

• Start ASAP

• Supporting pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage

• Providing 1:1 and small group support

• Assisting with phonics, early maths and communication development

• Supporting learning through play and continuous provision

• Previous experience working within EYFS

• A warm, patient and nurturing approach

• Good understanding of the EYFS framework

• Confidence supporting early phonics and language development

• Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• A supportive and welcoming school environment

• Engaged and enthusiastic young learners

• Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant

• Competitive daily pay, depending on experience

This role would suit an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant or someone passionate about early childhood education looking to further develop their skills within a primary school setting.
