Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with a background in Building Services, ready to take a lead role in a rapidly growing company, with opportunities for career progression, chartership support, and the chance to increase your earnings through overtime and company bonuses?This growing MEP design consultancy specialises in delivering tailored mechanical and electrical building-services solutions across commercial, residential, education, and industrial projects. The team provides detailed design, calculations, and energy-efficient strategies for HVAC, electrical distribution, renewable systems, and low-carbon solutions, supported by a highly skilled team of experienced engineers.

In this role you will lead Electrical Design across MEP projects, calculations, and specifications, ensuring compliance with BS7671, Part L, and BREEAM. You'll coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, attend client and design meetings, prepare technical reports and tender documents, and support site inspections, contributing to varied projects across the Midlands. This role is Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 with 2 days working from home.

The Role:

• Lead electrical design, producing compliant calculations, specifications, and documentation.
• Coordinate with mechanical and multidisciplinary teams across varied MEP projects.
• Attend client meetings, prepare reports, and support tenders.
• Carry out site inspections to ensure BS7671, Part L, and BREEAM compliance.
• Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00, hybrid working with overtime and bonus available.

The Person:

• Experience in electrical building services design.
• Knowledge of BS7671 and key design software.
• Confident communicator, comfortable attending client and design meetings.
• HNC or equivalent with a full UK driving licence.
• Commutable to Nottingham
