Job Description:

JOB – Electrical Design Engineer
LOCATION – Leicestershire  
TERM - Permanent 
SALARY – £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.


A Leicestershire-based Engineering company are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

 

AutoCAD Electrical – Electrical Design – Design For Manufacture – Research and Development - Machinery Design

The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical design package.
• Previous electrical design experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
• Previous experience designing industrial machinery.
• Experience with a CAD package like Autodesk Inventor, Creo, or Siemens is an advantage
• Full UK driving license.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The duties & responsibilities will include:

• Producing design documentation & electrical wiring diagrams.
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are being met at all times
• Providing support to other engineers when required.  
• Review and approve design information from other team members
• Participate in Research and development as well as product testing
