Electrical Design Engineer - Nuclear Sector
Location: Derby (Hybrid - 3 days from home)
Salary: Up to £70,000

A leading organisation in the nuclear industry is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with a strong bias towards Instrumentation & Control to join their team.

What you'll do:

• Design and deliver electrical systems across EC&I, panel design, HVAC, fire detection, and building services

• Work on high-profile nuclear projects from concept to commissioning

• Use industry-standard tools: AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, PDMS / Aveva 3D

• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality deliverables

Who we're looking for:

• 5+ years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer

• Experience in the nuclear sector preferred

• Chartered or qualified Electrical Design Engineer advantageous

• Strong background in control systems, instrumentation, and building services
