The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:

• Design and develop electrical equipment for industrial and power applications.

• Produce design calculations, drawings, and documentation for manufacture.

• Create 3D models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

• Select components, materials, and assemblies for electrical/control systems.

• Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Test teams to optimise designs.

• Ensure compliance with CE marking, DFMEA, and ISO 9001 standards.

• Support research, testing, and product development initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

Essential:

• Strong electrical design experience in manufacturing or machinery.

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.

• Knowledge of CE marking and DFMEA.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Excel.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

• Understanding of mechanical principles (materials, FEA, fabrication).

• Experience with medium/high voltage (MV/HV) systems or assemblies.
