Electrical Fitter - Temporary with the potential to become permanent - Immediate Start
Corby - Northamptonshire UK
£28,500 - £32,500 per annum
Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 Friday 07:30 - 13:30

Are you looking for a hands-on role where quality matters? We are currently looking for people who have previously worked as Electrical Fitters, Electrical Technicians, Engineering Fitters or Electrical Engineers to join a well-established engineering company. Our client has over 20 years' experience producing premium, durable products that help customers work smarter, safer, and more efficiently.

Due to the nature of this position, candidates are required to be resident in the Corby area with Right to Work Documentation in place as initially this is a temporary role with an immediate start.

The Role

• Electrical fitting and assembly work in accordance with the drawings and instructions provided.
• Assemble electrical components including motorised units and industrial junction boxes and control panels
• Assisting with quality checks, highlighting any issues to the Works Manager prior to passing to next operation.
• To carry out electrical testing work.
• Completing all relevant paperwork.
• Prepare any documentation such as Inspection Sheets, quality documentation.
• Housekeeping of workshop area, ensuring all H&S regulations are always adhered to

Experience and Skills

• Have previouslu worked within an electrical engineering role.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload and comfortable working to schedules
• Excellent attention to detail, and dexterity for accurate performance of tasks.
• Passion to produce high quality products.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Experience in soldering, crimping and using hand & power tools
