Electrical Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale commercial new build project. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing electrical works from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all electrical aspects of a commercial new build project

• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants

• Plan, programme, and monitor project progress against milestones

• Control budgets, variations, and cost reporting

• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements

• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

• Attend client, design, and site meetings as required

• Ensure quality control, testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation

Electrical Project Manager Key Requirements

• Black ECS

• SMSTS

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on commercial construction projects

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installations

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams effectively

• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills

• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations

• Proficient in project reporting and planning tools
