Job Description:

Electrical Support Technician, up to £37K + additional payments, commutable from Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire

• Varied electrical engineering / electronics engineering / control systems engineering role – testing, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, customer site visits.
• Multi-site, successful engineering business developing industry leading safety control and automation systems for several industry sectors. 
• £32K - £37K salary + paid overtime + company car + additional payments for travel to customer sites.
• Flexible working hours + early finish on a Friday!

The Electrical Support Technician job will suit:

• We are looking for a candidate with an electrical engineering / electronics engineering / control systems background that would enjoy a truly varied engineering role including product service and repair, providing product technical support to customers and engineering teams, product testing, and onsite support.   
• You could have gained your experience in a variety of roles e.g. Service Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Systems Engineer, Commissioning Engineer etc….
• Any knowledge or experience of PLC programming, control systems, SCADA systems or similar technology would be advantageous.
• You are likely to hold a relevant engineering qualification in an electrical engineering, electronics engineering or similar engineering discipline.  
• Able to undertake some UK travel.  

This Electrical Support Technician will involve:

• Carry out planned service and repair of industry leading products and systems – this is mainly done in-house alongside customer site visits.
• Reactive / product breakdown maintenance and repair support.  
• Provide onsite technical / maintenance support to customer engineering teams as required.
• Communicating with internal engineering teams and customers.

This Electrical Support Technician job is commutable from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Swadlincote, Burton upon Trent, Tamworth, Derby, Loughborough, Leicester, Syston, Long Eaton, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Enderby and surrounding areas
