Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

Are you an electrically qualified, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a background in manufacturing or production and looking for a stable days-based role?

We’re recruiting for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing business around the Corby area.

The Maintenance Engineer role:

• Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
• Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery (Just up to I/O level)
• Responding quickly to breakdowns and keeping downtime to a minimum
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site
• Working proactively to ensure the smooth running of production

The Successful Maintenance Engineer:

• A strong engineering background within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (Apprenticeship, HNC, City & Guilds or similar)
• A genuinely multi-skilled approach – electrical bias with solid mechanical knowledge.
• A Maintenance engineer who can diagnose issues within Inverters, drives and mechanical systems.
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
