Electrician – Join Our In-House Repairs Team

Are you an experienced Electrician seeking a new contract opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Electrician to join our busy In-House Repairs Team in Coalville.

This is a fantastic chance to work on a variety of projects including installations, testing, and maintenance across occupied and vacant properties.

Job Title: Electrician


Employment Type: Contract
Location: Coalville
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: £24 per hour

Candidate Responsibilities for the Electrician As our ideal Electrician, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out all electrical works to the highest standards in line with current regulations and manufacturer’s instructions.
• Completing assigned tasks efficiently within set deadlines.
• Coordinating effectively with the Asset Management Support Team to ensure smooth scheduling.
• Properly using and maintaining all issued tools, accessories, and equipment.
• Following strict Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conducting electrical testing and inspections, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
• Performing re-wiring, repairs, and maintenance work across various properties.

Candidate Requirements for the Electrician

• Full UK driving license and own transport, with business insurance cover.
• Minimum of two years' experience, with references held by the agency, including one from your most recent employer.
• Previous re-wire experience preferred.
• Up-to-date training certificates in:
  • Working at Height
  • Manual Handling
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • COSHH Training
• Essential skills include electrical testing and inspection.
