A new opportunity has become available for an Engineering Geologist to join a well-established ground investigation team based in Leicester. This role offers the chance to work with a specialist environmental consultancy involved in a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK. Projects range from infrastructure to commercial developments.

You will work closely with experienced and chartered professionals, gaining hands-on involvement across both site-based and office-based activities.

As the Engineering Geologist, your responsibilities will include preparing interpretative and factual reports, completing Phase 1 desk studies, undertaking soil and groundwater sampling, contributing to DQRA work, supervising site investigations, and maintaining strong communication with clients.

This position offers clear progression into a Senior Engineering Geologist role, supported by structured training and ongoing development. You will also have opportunities to assist in mentoring junior team members as the business continues to grow.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Earth Science, or a related discipline
• Experience producing factual reports
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to commute to the Leicester office
