Job Description:

Daily Rate: £162 – £251
Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Derbyshire this September. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about literature and language, and eager to motivate students to develop strong communication and analytical skills.

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)

• Work within a supportive and creative English department

• Weekly pay between £162 – £251, depending on experience

• Full-time role, with flexibility considered

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)

• Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools

• Strong subject knowledge in both language and literature

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• A creative, engaging approach to lesson delivery

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
