Environmental and Sustainability Lead (Manufacturing)

£50,000 - £55,000 + Development + Progression + Autonomous Role + Excellent Company Benefits

Ideally Located: Leicester, Wigston, Coalville, Loughborough, Glenfield, Nuneaton, Lutterworth, ETC

Are you an Environmental or Sustainability professional with experience in manufacturing, looking for a role where you can take ownership of ESG strategy and drive meaningful environmental change across a growing organisation?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding manufacturer where you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the company's sustainability and environmental strategy.

The company have continued to grow year on year and have established themselves as a trusted supplier to businesses across the UK. Due to ongoing expansion, they are now looking to
appoint a Sustainability & ESG Manager to help drive environmental performance and support their long-term sustainability goals.

In this role you will lead the development and implementation of ESG initiatives, manage Environmental Management Systems and support projects focused on improving environmental performance and reducing carbon footprint.

This position would suit someone with a background in ESG, sustainability or environmental management within manufacturing, looking for a role where they can take ownership of initiatives and make a real impact within the business.

The role:

• Lead and develop the company's ESG and sustainability strategy
• Manage Environmental Management Systems and compliance initiatives
• Monday to Friday days

The Candidate:

• Experience in Sustainability, ESG or Environmental management
• Experience working with environmental legislations
• Looking for an autonomous and rewarding role
