Estimator - Tiling / Flooring

Location: Leicester
Salary: Up to £45,000 (dependent on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Tiling Estimator to join their Leicester-based team, supporting the sales department by accurately pricing tiling works across a range of projects.

This role would suit someone with hands-on experience in tiling who has moved into estimating, or an Estimator with a construction background looking to specialise within a tiling-focused environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate estimates for tiling packages, working closely with the sales and project teams to ensure competitive and commercially sound pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Pricing tiling works from drawings, specifications, and schedules

• Preparing quotations to support the sales team

• Measuring quantities and producing take-offs

• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors where required

• Assisting with value engineering and cost planning

• Maintaining accurate records of tenders and quotations

Experience & Requirements

• Experience in tiling, flooring, or a construction trade background preferred

• Or proven experience in construction estimating

• Strong attention to detail and numerical ability

• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications

• Good communication and organisational skills
