Does turning drawings into accurate, winning quotes sound like your thing?

This isn’t just about crunching numbers. It’s about translating complex sheet metal designs into realistic, competitive quotes that win business. You’ll be working with a UK manufacturer that’s been established for over 60 years, evolving from family run roots into a modern, technology led operation. Supplying components to sectors from automotive and aerospace through to retail and construction, they’ve built a reputation for quality, reliability, and fast turnaround. What you’ll be doing:

• Reviewing drawings/specs to prepare detailed estimates
  
• Calculating materials, labour, tooling and finishing costs
  
• Working with suppliers to get competitive quotes
  
• Preparing customer quotations and following up
  
• Liaising with production to make sure timescales and costs are realistic
  
• Tracking actual costs vs estimates to improve accuracy
  

What’s on offer:

• Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience
  
• Hours: Mon to Thurs 8am to 5pm, Fri 8am to 2:30pm (early finish every week)
