Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team, specialising in the point of sale (POS) and retail sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating counter units, FSDUs, pop-up stores, and retail fit-outs for major clients in the health & beauty and cosmetic sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project briefs, specifications, and drawings to develop accurate cost estimates for retail displays, counters, FSDUs, pop-ups, and fit-outs.
• Collaborate with sales, design, and project teams to understand client requirements and project scope.
• Source and negotiate costs with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, proposals, and bids for major clients.
• Assist in value engineering and offer alternative solutions to optimise project costs without compromising quality.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and retail display solutions.
• Ensure estimates are delivered within the agreed timelines and meet client expectations.
• Support project teams during execution with cost control and change management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience estimating in the POS, retail, or retail fit-out sectors, especially for health & beauty and cosmetic clients.
• Strong understanding of retail display units, FSDUs, pop-ups, and shop-fit standards.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in estimating software and MS Office suite.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of environmental and sustainability considerations in retail environments.
• Experience working with major retail brands and clients in the health & beauty and cosmetic sectors.
