EYFS One-to-One SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunities – Hinckley (Start: ASAP)

Are you a caring and enthusiastic individual passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development?
Supply Personnel is seeking dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in local primary schools.

These are full-time roles, Monday to Friday, working consistently within one school setting. The role will involve supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) on a one-to-one basis, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, or additional learning needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Start date: ASAP

• Experience: Previous experience supporting children in EYFS, ideally with SEN

• Confidence: Familiarity with EYFS curriculum and child-led learning approaches

• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to nurture, engage, and inspire young learners

• Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and school staff

• Personal Qualities: Patient, empathetic, and committed to helping every child reach their full potential

Qualifications:

• Level 3 TA qualification or a relevant childcare/education degree

• Experience or training in supporting SEN, particularly Autism and ADHD, is highly desirable

• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
