EYFS Teacher

Job Description:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified Teacher (with QTS or EYTS) to lead nursery & reception age group. You will design and teach curriculum, monitor progress, ensure school readiness, and collaborate with parents & staff. The role is a full time position, starting in November and lasting until the summer in the first instance.

About the Nursery / School:
A nursery school registered with education authority, with a Reception class and nursery provision. High expectations, excellent facilities, strong staff development and inclusive ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan & deliver EYFS curriculum for ages 3‑5

• Prepare children for transition to KS1

• Monitor assessment & progress; use data to inform planning

• Lead staff meetings & coach support staff

• Ensure safeguarding, behaviour & welfare

Prerequisites:

• QTS or EYTS / recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching early years (nursery / reception)

• Strong curriculum knowledge, especially EYFS

• Enhanced DBS & safeguarding training
