Teaching Assistant – Nursery
 

Start Date: After October Half Term
Contract: Until Christmas (with potential extension into the New Year)

We are currently seeking two qualified Teaching Assistants (Level 2 or above) to join a welcoming nursery class within a supportive primary school setting.

Role Overview:
The successful candidates will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality support to nursery-aged children, helping to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering planned activities and learning opportunities

• Assist with children’s personal, social, and emotional development

• Provide 1:1 and small group support where required

• Help to maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Level 2 (or higher) Teaching Assistant qualification – essential

• Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A passion for supporting young children’s learning and development

Details:

• Start: After October half term

• Duration: Until Christmas (potential to extend into the new year)

• Full-time, school hours
