Job Description:

Job Title: Welder / Fabricator
Location: Derby
Shifts: Day shifts (occasional Saturdays depending on project demands)
Weekly Hours: 39
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
* Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
Pay: £16.00 per hour (£32,300 DOE)
Overtime: £24.00 per hour (ample opportunities available)
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: Immediate

Our client is a leading manufacturer of trade signs, producing a wide range of high-quality signage for prestigious retail brands.

Role Overview:

This role focuses on the fabrication and welding of high-quality trade signs, primarily for well-known retail brands. Responsibilities include cutting and forming sheet metal, TIG welding, and ensuring a premium finish on all products.

Candidate Profile:

* Proven experience with TIG welding
* Strong fabrication background
* Experience working with aluminium
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Flexibility to work overtime when required

Qualifications:

* Ideally completed an apprenticeship in welding, sheet metal work, fabrication, or a related discipline
