Fabricator / Welder – Permanent Position

Location: Nottingham
Salary: £31,500 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 38 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 (early finish on Fridays)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our client’s team in Nottingham. This hands-on role involves working from technical drawings to fabricate and weld components, working with a range of materials, and assembling bespoke machinery parts. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and research and development work.

Main Duties:

• Fabricate components accurately from technical drawings and schematics

• Perform MIG/TIG welding on a range of materials

• Assemble machinery and parts to precise specifications

• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues as required

• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fabrication and welding

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Strong time management and attention to detail

• Self-motivated and able to work independently or within a team

• Takes pride in producing quality work
