We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join our growing fabrication team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong MIG welding experience and a background in sheet metal fabrication within a workshop environment.

The position will focus primarily on MIG welding, working with mild steel and sheet metal components to produce high-quality fabricated parts. Alongside welding duties, you will be involved in press brake operations, laser-cut components (Trumpf), and a range of general fabrication tasks typical of a precision metalwork business.

Key responsibilities of our Fabricator Welder include: Interpreting engineering drawings, setting up and operating fabrication machinery, assembling components, and ensuring finished products meet required quality standards. Attention to detail, consistency, and pride in workmanship are essential.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with press brakes, laser-cut parts, folding, drilling, and general metal preparation is highly desirable. While formal qualifications are beneficial, practical experience and a strong work ethic are equally valued.

In return, we offer a stable, long-term opportunity within local industry leader, competitive pay based on experience, and a supportive working environment. There is scope to develop your skills further within the fabrication department and grow with the business.

Hours of work: 07:15 – 16:15 Monday to Thursday, 07:15 – 12:15 on Fridays

Rates of pay: Variable based on experience, ranging from £15 - £!7 per hour

If you are an experienced MIG welder / Fabricator with a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication and are looking for a reliable role in a professional workshop, we would like to hear from you.
