In this hands-on position, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our clients site infrastructure - ensuring thier buildings, plant, and equipment run safely, efficiently, and compliantly.
From reactive repairs and fault-finding to supporting improvement projects, this is a dynamic opportunity for someone with a passion for keeping things running at their best.
What You'll Do as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer
- Carry out preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on buildings, plant, and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
- Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance work and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Respond to breakdowns and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide facilities support across multiple sites as required.
What we need from you for the Facilities Maintenance Engineer:
- Proven experience in facilities or plant maintenance.
- A completed mechanical or craft apprenticeship.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Comfortable working at height.
- Excellent communication and a team-first mindset.
- A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to manage your own workload.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with maintenance systems.
