Facilities Technician
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: £24,596 per annum

A unique opportunity has arisen to join our Facilities Team at Burton & South Derbyshire College and help us maintain very high standards across our campuses.

We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean and welcoming spaces. You’ll be someone who enjoys practical work, thrives on variety, and is confident working both independently and as part of a team. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, you’ll help ensure our campuses are secure, well-maintained and ready to support learning every day.

You’ll need to be flexible, responsive and comfortable working to a shift rota, including occasional call-outs. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential, and a willingness to undertake First Aid training is desirable. If you’re someone who values great service, communicates well, and is committed to high standards, we’d love to hear from you.

Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
