Location: Nuneaton and surrounding areas

Salary: £ 12.86 per hour

As an Enhanced Grade Support Worker, you will be working with adults with more complex needs, particularly individuals living with EUPD (Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder). This requires a higher level of skill, resilience, consistency to provide safe, therapeutic, and person-centred support.

You will be part of a team that makes a lasting difference by supporting individuals through times of emotional distress, helping them to build coping strategies, improve independence, and achieve positive outcomes.

Enhanced Grade Support Worker Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience in a Caring environment essential  
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
• Good communication skills, allowing you to engage & interact with our Service Users
• Ability to keep calm under pressure
• Confidence to work alone and also be part of a team (family)
• Passionate about making a positive difference to someone else’s life
• Good written skills
• Experience or strong interest in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs (EUPD experience desirable)
• Ability to use de-escalation skills and maintain calm, professional boundaries during challenging situations.
• Strong emotional resilience and self-awareness, with the ability to manage your own responses under pressure.
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn, trauma-informed practice and Positive Behaviour Support approaches.
• Ability to build trusting, therapeutic relationships while maintaining clear and consistent boundaries.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to listen actively, show empathy, and provide clear, supportive guidance.
• Confidence to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

What we do!

We are a well-established, nationwide healthcare provider. Our homes are Specialist Mental Health Services and established, offering adults person-centred care. We carefully develop and adapt homes to meet the varying needs of adults with mental health needs. The services are carefully located within thriving communities, offering a variety of educational, recreational and social activities.

We provide a positive impact on the service experience of people with mental health difficulties who may be experiencing emotional distress. This primarily involves support using a person-centred approach. Our Support Workers measure outcomes specifically to an individual’s needs and evidence using our person-centred outcome-measuring tool.

Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment, the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
