Fenestration Designer

Job Description:

Are you a skilled Fenestration Designer with a sharp eye for detail, a passion for precision, and a flair for modern glazing designs? This is your chance to join a thriving, fenestration fabricator and installer who has built an outstanding reputation in glazing industry both on for domestic and commercial projects across the East & West Midlands areas .

We’re on the hunt for an experienced, proactive individual to bring both design expertise and estimating know-how to our dynamic team. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional window, door solutions on some of the most exciting commercial and residential projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design and produce detailed drawings using architectural aluminium and PVCu systems for  windows, doors and curtain walling
• Using AutoCAD and industry specific software Logikal and Business Micros
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and fabricators to ensure designs are practical, achievable, and commercially viable.
• Manage multiple projects from design through to quotation and handover, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, product developments, and material innovations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Solid, proven experience in aluminium fenestration design and estimating.
• Expert-level proficiency with Logikal, Business Micros and AutoCAD.
• Strong technical understanding of fabrication, installation processes, and system specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients and suppliers.
• A methodical, organised, and commercially aware approach with a creative edge.
