Field Engineer – Crushing & Screening Equipment

Location: Nationwide Travel (Field-Based)
Hours: 40 Hours p/week
Salary: £25 p/hr DOE + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Holt Recruitment is working with an established company in the crushing and screening machinery sector to appoint a Technical Expert. This role is field-based with nationwide travel across mainland Britain, supporting service operations and leading technical expertise across their mobile machinery range, specifically including Keestrack equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites to service, maintain, and optimise crushing and screening machinery
• Oversee preparation and pre-delivery inspections of new machines at the Barnsley PDI centre
• Provide technical phone support to customers and field service engineers
• Collaborate with internal teams to support diagnostics, parts ordering, and documentation
• Lead technical development of the crushing and screening field service team

Experience & Knowledge:

• Previous experience in a similar field-based role, ideally working on crushers, screens, and stackers
• Additional knowledge of shredders, trommels, conveyors, and heavy plant (loaders, excavators, waste handlers) is advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Strong IT and communication skills

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Quarry Passport and/or Passport to Safety (desirable)
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required
• Self-motivated, team player, and able to represent the company professionally on-site
